چکیده

This study evaluated the ability of submerged aquatic plant Ceratophyllum demersum to remove Acid Blue 92 (AB92) dye. The effect some operational parameters such as reaction time, initial dye concentration, biomass, and pH, on removal efficiency was studied. Based Taguchi’s results, optimized conditions for were time 7 days, concentration 20 mg l-1, biomass 4 g, pH 5. Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) results confirmed interaction between molecules plants. this study, C. had a reusability dye, fact confirming mechanism biodegradation in process. Also, AB92 physiological responses investigated. Minimum relative growth rate, tolerance index, chlorophyll a, b, total chlorophyll, carotenoids at l-1 observed. cyanidin glycoside, lipid peroxidation, antioxidant activity increased both concentrations 10 l-1. It can be concluded that induced risk oxidative stress Ceratophyllum.

Azo Dye Biodecolorization Enhanced by Echinodontium taxodii Cultured with Lignin

Lignocellulose facilitates the fungal oxidization of recalcitrant organic pollutants through the extracellular ligninolytic enzymes induced by lignin in wood or other plant tissues. However, available information on this phenomenon is insufficient. Free radical chain reactions during lignin metabolism are important in xenobiotic removal. Thus, the effect of lignin on azo dye decolorization in v...

Biodecolorization and Biodegradation of Azo Dye Reactive Orange-16 by Marine Nocardiopsis sp.

Background: Azo dyes are xenobiotic compounds that have bioaccumulated in the environment due to escalated industrial development. These are hazardous in nature, possessing carcinogenic and mutagenic effects on human beings. Objectives: The perspective of the present study was to isolate and to determine azo dye (Reactive Orange-16) degrading potential of...

Amelioration of the acid blue oxidation process by as-synthesized ZnO nanoparticles: Optimization of the dye and photocatalyst concentration together with the pH of the solution

In this research, ZnO nanoparticles (NPs) were synthesized using a binary Zn(II) Schiff-base complex. The complex heat-treated to prepare ZnO nanoparticles via thermal decomposition route at a temperature of 500 °C. The formation of single-phase ZnO nanoparticles and their microstructures were studied by XRD pattern, SEM and TEM observation. The photo-degradation characteristic of the as-prepar...
